UP AND COMING
Temperature's up and down since Tuesday. And it just got worse after the 'open market session' on Tuesday. It seems that I was buying viruses from the stalls. Was sneezing all the way. So another MC will be submitted for tomorrow. I'm falling sick too often am I not? And it's Mak's birthday too. So good day to take the day off and cook and clean for the family too, or perhaps a family outing!!
I can forsee a very busy and hectic 2008. Firstly there's Odyssey of the Mind (OM) to think about. Was approached my Michelle to take it up this year and I will be pairing with Lena. At the moment I'm still not confident and clueless on how to solve the problem. It's language and literature related which is so not Me nor Lena! Wrong person, wrong person. After two days of coaching and briefing for the competition, my confidence level is nowhere higher but I'm pretty excited to see how this project will develop. I welcome any inputs from everyone definitely. So here's my question:
Problem 3: Classics... The Wonderful Muses
In Greek Mythology, muses were the sourse of inspiration for the creative works of artists and scientists. The team's problem is to create and present and original performance that includes one of the nine Greek muses. The Muse will inspire two people during the performance:
(1) a historical person who made an actual positive contribution to the world
(2) an original, team-created person who tries to make a positive controbution to the world.
The Muse will use the art form attributed to her during two "moments of inspiration", when all the characters in the scene, except the Muse, will "freeze". The team will also create two original works in that art form to include in the performance.
CHIM KAN?!! I really welcome any form of help and suggestion here.
So besides OM, I still have a few other BIG plans. Will not put them up first since it's yet to be confirmed. But please pray for me that all will go well ya. But if everything is really going to take place, then I will really need to manage my time wisely.
