A BAGFUL OF UPDATES

Aahhh it's been a long break from blogger.com... basically this december sees me being independent and taking the role of the eldest in the household. With parents away for Haj, I was left to manage the cooking, cleaning and finance of the family.

I always thought that it couldn't be that tough with all the time at home to complete the chores but boy was I wrong. Definitely not easy to be a housewife. I salute my mum for being such a wonderful housemaker... been taking her for granted :).

But it was really good practice for me... and of course sister has been a big help too. And now that I have already started school again since last Wednesday, Azi would have to take over the cooking part.

Managed to get away for a short getaway to Port Dickson and KL (AGAIN).. and this time a convoy of 6 cars. Equipped with walkie talkies in every car, the convoy was definitely fun and easier as we exchanged riddles and jokes and continually updated each other on directions. Good company since my passengers all seemed to fall into deep slumber the moment they get into the car.

Christmas was a gathering for my paternal cousins in the new abode of Kak Didi. Western was the theme and everyone contributed to the potluck. We even had a logcake to celebrate the December babies.

The maternal family also came out to celebrate Azi's birthady at Sakura International Buffet at Downtown East... Sushi and durian puffs!!!!!

And finally today REA had its kickstart with the introduction of the initiative to family members and friends. Alhamdulillah it went well. And below is that slideshow that we managed to put together. It could be a last minute work till 1am in the morning but I think it is beautiful.
