GOODBYE 2007 HELLO 2008
I'm not the kind who likes to hang out till late at night, what more being out through the night till wee hours in the morning, not unless it's with family members. It's just the way I've been brought up. A strict no no from parents and I don't quite mind that at all. I guess close friends would know how early my curfew can be or count the number of times I lepak with them till late at night.
But just this week saw me and siblings watching two midnight movies, even that with my cousins. We watched 'Alvin & the Chipmunks' (really a must watch!) on Christmas eve, had supper at Yishun followed by shopping at Mustafa Centre. Fadhil was very amazed at the range of things available at Mustafa that he is now considering putting that megamall above Orchard Road. Haha kesian dia tak pernah jejak Mustafa Centre before this. Jakun habis. We were only back at 5.30am with cousins sleeping over at my house after a round of ice-cream.
So Abang Alfa suggested another gathering for midnight movie on New Year. This time, we recruited 4 more new members for the outing. We started with dinner at Marina Square and then headed for a spot near the Esplanade to watch the fireworks. There was a massive crowd and so we did not dare to risk going to far out into the crowd just in case we are unable to make our way back on time to Marina Square by 12.30am. 'National Treasure' wasn't too bad a show although it watched me sleeping for a short 10 minutes. Then supper at Adam corner before the convoy of 3 cars and a bike split for home. It was 4.30am. That was a different start to a brand new year.

I forsee 2008 being another hectic year. I have OM to work on. I hope to be doing part time studying too if my application gets accepted. As I look forward to another year, I cherished many moments in 2007
A full year being a form teacher, getting my four-wheel drive, attending weddings, celebrating the arrival of new people into the world and having to bid farewell to dear ones. It was full of its ups and downs but that's how the cycle of life goes.
Time never goes back. Let the past make me a stronger person as I live the present to the fullest into a promising future.
To all of you out there... here's wishing you a wonderful 2008. May all your prayers and dreams come true.
